For our newspaper heading we mainly looked at this logo as we liked the layout as well as the colour scheme. However, we didn’t like the fact the lettering was lower case.

We looked at this heading for examples of a different layout, our ‘St Helens Post’ heading is of a similar layout, with St Helens wrote diagonal down the first letter of the text.

We chose not to use the layout of this heading for ours as we didn’t feel the block colour surrounding the text would blend with the other parts of the newspaper.
