A magazine that could feature the advert for my documentary would be "tv choice" a cheap weekly magazine that is widely available in shops across the country so the programme would be noticed. However the magazine is generallt tacky and doesn't and it's main target audience is people who enjoy soap operas and reality t.v such as "Ant & Dec Saturday Night Takeaway" as seen on the front cover which is very busy with alot of photographs and bright contrasting colours. The main picture is of a wedding in a popular soap. Period dramas and documentaries do feature however a half page box and picture is all that is dedicated and would suggest that the people who purchase this magazine are not interested in documentaries. However soaps are given a very detailed in depth double page spread. As such it wouldn't be suitebale magazine for my article. I would be better off with a more up market tv magazine such as "The Radio Times"
