Shooting Locations

I will be filming alot of the documentary here at the Ribble Steam Railway's Steam Gala. The advantages of filming here include proximity to college only a 20 minutes on national rail to Preston and then a 40 minute walk down to the docklands were the railway is located. In addition on a gala day more steam engines will be running and various types of train providing a rich variety. In additon the location of the docks and woods provides excellent back drops for the trains and there are plenty of public areas close to the railway were close ups to the trains can be shot safely it's also cheap to use this location keeping the budget low. As it's a special event lots of enthusiasts and families about giving greater opprtunity for interviews.
