After much deliberation this was the logo design which i chose. I chose this design for a number of reasons; firstly i like the red back ground as i feel it rounds off the logo making it seperate from the rest of the text on the cover, another reason why i like the red background is because i think that it is eye-catching and striking. Secondly, i like the combination of the serif and sans-serif fonts in the logo by having the town name in bold block lettering, i think the combination of fonts makes it more interesting to look at. I chose to make the word 'telegraph' blue to make it stand out even though its smaller and less bold than the town name.
COLOUR CHANGE: I changed the brightness of my logo because i thought the colour was too bright making it look slightly tacky and unproffessional. I made the red deeper and the blue darker and feel that it works much better than the previous colouring as it still stands out without looking more like a magazine logo.
