Repulsion is a 1965 British psychological thriller film directed by Roman Polanski, based on a scenario by Gérard Brach and Roman Polanski. It tracks the life of a young woman, who's is slowly being absorbed by madness. It shows how her worst nightmares become reality. Theres a shot where shes walking down a corridor, and hands start to come out of the walls and try to grab her. To me, this represents how the madness is trying to get a hold of her, and is grabbing out at her to capture her, but she has to keep going. The corridor represents the journey through her madness, and living with the disorder. This film is an inspiration to me, and its imagery is thought provoking and makes you think and link things together to come to your own conclusion about what is wrong with the girl. It does this by using bizzar and visually stimulating shots and imagery to capture you and keep you thinking. Heather http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As4wV592ClE ^^^
