28 Days Later

Unlike the George Romero style zombie films, 28 Days Later doesn't actually have 'zombies' they are more intelligent and can run and jump and climb. They are referred to as 'the infected' because at the start of the film it shows a rage infected monkey passing the virus on through blood. It is later found out (in the second film) that the disease can be passed on through any bodily fluids and also that some people are immune to the virus.

The storyline follows a man who wakes up from a coma 28 days after the beginning of a zombie apocalypse he walks round an empty London before being chased by the infected and finding a group of people who he then stays with to follow a military broadcast. When they reach the military base they are then shocked to find that all is not what it seems. After that it all goes to chaos and there is two alternate endings dependent on which version you watch. One is that the main character dies and the viewer is left unsure on the future of the other characters. The other is that he survives and the ending is left hopeful with the arrival of the American army.

Here is a link to the teaser trailer.

The teaser trailer is quite clever in the way that you don't actually see the 'zombies', the beginning of the trailer builds up suspense really well by using the various audio effects and short fast clips between the text explaining what happens. The rest of the teaser trailer is then shots of of the main character walking round with a strange calming music over the top.

Here is a link to the full length trailer so that you can see some of the 'infected'. It still doen't show any particularly long clips of them however this trailer gives you more of an idea of the storyline without giving anything away.
