4.How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Equipment and software we used:

We used a HD Panasoniccamcorder to record the footage for our film.

We used a Boom mic and headphones to pick up outdoor conversations more clearly.

We used Adobe Premiere CS5 editing package for our post-production editing.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 was the package we used when creating the film poster. The editing options for images are superb and really helped us achieve a professional looking poster.

Another technology we used was Audacity when recording the voice for our radio advert.

Reasearch

We used the internet during our research Stages. Sites such as google and youtube in particular were key resources when looking at films in a similar genre to ours and for effect tutorials.

Planning

An Apple Macbook came in useful for writing scripts and creating storyboards

Evaluation

We used a Panasonic HD-SD9 handheld camcorder to shoot the response to evaluation question one
