I noticed that the inside pages of local newspapers included alot of adverts surrounding the articles, i highlighted these with circles showing where they are. I really like the layout of the first example with the black box and large red word above the headline, this grabs attention instantly and makes a statement on the page.
In the second example i like how the photo is positioned almost as a corner of the page with the article fitting inside it, however i think that the amount and size of the adverts destracts some of the attention from the article.
I will take both of these into account when creating my inside page for my project.
