For my main story i decided to use the idea of a local boy winning the Xfactor. I went on to take some photographs for my front page infront of 'York Windows' the boys old work place before winning the competition. I did this so that the story would seem more dramatic using the idea of a normal local boy becoming a star. I made my model stand in different poses to give me arrange to chose from when placing it onto my cover. I decided have have him dressed casually in to further enhance the fact that he was just a normal boy. I prefer the smiling photos to the more serious as i think that they fit more with my story of the boy winning the competition. I made sure that the sign of the business was on show clearly in all of my photos so that readers could tell just from the image that the story was about someone local.
