I played about with ideas for a layout for my poster. My idea is to cover a ball in newspaper then edit it to look like the world, making it fit in with my slogan 'local news means the world to us' i experimented with different shapes for the poster and with the text curving like the image.
However even after creating all 3 of these layouts i still felt that none gave the look i was hoping for, for a number of reasons; firstly the layout of the first poster has too much blank space however i like the colour scheme so may apply this to my final poster.
I also think making the text curve like the image doesnt make it bold and stand out, so i will take this in to account when making my final poster. where i will use a larger bolder text.
Although i much prefer the square size for my poster i wouldnt be able to fit on bolder text so will apply changes to my size.
