This is the music video for one of my favourite bands called Yeasayer. The song is called Ambling alp and is off the album Odd blood.The video was created by directing duo Radical Friend.
It is a surreal video, containing many metaphors and strange scenes. It is very similar to the type of video i would aspire to create, its thought provoking, inspired and artistic. It also complements the song beautifully, and the contrast over all of yeasayers music videos is great!


I really like the fact that there is no typical "band" mouthing in the background. I think its cliche, so the artist has delivered some mouthing in the form of the lead singer having a profile shot, in which he is singing the words, but having his face rubbed and pushed around by another person who's face is not in the shot. This could be to portray a "puppet" like syndrome, to send the message across that theres always someone controlling you or telling you what to say and how to say it...
