Yesterday afternoon we both took a trip to the local Gunsmiths where we found a reasonably priced plastic shotgun that will be a great prop for our film. We placed an order for the toy shotgun and it will be available for us to pick up on thursday afternoon. This will be in good time for our final shoot which we are doing at the weekend.
The prop has a retractable clip and a moving fore-end so it will look realistic on screen. However the design of the plastic is see-through and the tip of the gun is orange which easily give it away as a toy, therefore we are going to spray paint the gun black. We plan to upload the pictures of this new prop once we have it.
