We have successfully completed our second shoot. We are very pleased with what we captured especially the shots that involved the clone effect.
The shoot contained a large amount of action particularly the chase scene, therefore we had to consider how to capture the chase to best portray excitment and adrenaline. As we have a extremely low budget and do not have the use of equipment such as dolly's and steadycams we had to improvise. The most difficult part of the shoot was capturing the charcters sprinting whilst maintaining a reasonably steady shot so the audience could comfortably watch it. We think we overcame this problem quite well by using filming out of the window of a car alongside the running actors. In other shots we tried our best to keep the camera steady whilst running with it. These shots were still shakey but acceptable in creating a realistic effect that adds to the action.
Here are some screenshots of shots that were particularly successful in the second shoot.
