Digipack Design: Front Cover.

Above is the final design for the front cover of the digipack. After researching into existing album artworks, I found that many of the artists were pictured on the covers in youthful, innocent poses. I have similar traits by using the photograph in my design. The artist is being playful as she is jumping around the studio for the camera. She is also showing feminine qualities by wearing pink commonly associated with younger women. Also, her hair is flowing in the air. This is similar to other covers such as Taylor Swifts and Miley Cyrus', who are both young artists. I have increased the brightness and edited the contrast of the image to give a better quality image. I have also used used the 'fresco' effect to give a washed out, darker image. This goes against the other conventions of artwork which I have talked about but I think it works on the lighter background. The text is simple, yet elegant and has a sense of class and richness in the bright colours. The font is simple, but I think it suits the simple and plain cover.
