Inspiration..

After looking at many female artists and their album artwork. I have picked my favourite designs which show young, energised, innocent artists on the covers.

The first cover I looked at, Taylor Swift's 'Fearless', had an image of her looking softly with open and bright eyes and gentle lips. Her hair is flowing in the wind behind her, this gives the artowrk a soft and feminine feel.

The second cover I looked at was the Mariah Carey album were she is pictured three times in different poses. She is smiling in all of the images and looking at the camera presenting a positive mood. Her hair is flowing gently giving a feminine feel. And she is wearing a loose white dress suggesting innocene and youth. Her images also suggest that she is having fun.

Next, I looked at one of Rihanna's albums, 'A Girl Like Me'. The image is a extreme close-up of her looking directly into the camera. Her eyes are glowing and she has an innocent expression on her face. She is wearing white, which suggests innocence.

Britney Spears also follows the same traits as above with her album cover for 'Circus'. She is looking directly at the camera with a naive and innocent expression, this suggests youth. And her white dress suggests innocence.



I also looked at Miley Cyrus' album, 'Breakout'. The image shows her holding a microphone, looking at the ground. She is smiling which suggests a fun and playful manner. Her clothing also suggests the artist to be youthful.



I wish to create something similar to these covers, which will present the same traits that are seen in these designs.
