We researched existing local newspapers as inspiration for our final product. We decided to use red as our colour scheme, rather than blue, as it stands out better, attracting a wider range of consumers.
We also chose a similar layout to the 'St Helens Star' as we felt it looked the most professional.
We also used the new 'I' newspaper as inspiration. Although it isnt a local paper, the televion advert helped to give us an idea for our radio advert, on how to market the paper.
