So we first needed to add a background that would make it look realistic. We did try to find a template for one, but this was unsuccessful, so we felt the best thing to do was make on.
We did this by simply adding 4 separate text layers and writing the height at either end and filling it with an 'underscore'. The result is below:
We then chose a picture from the photoshoot of each character on their own. We erased the backgrounds, using the magnetic lasso tool, and then dropped them in to the photoshop document over the top of the line up background. We also made them black and white by reducing the saturation.
We then decided to add the title, which we had previously created on another photoshop document. (See previous blog). We simply copied the layer in the this document and positioned it in the top left hand corner.
We then added the rest of the text that we needed, the time, date and a tag line for the show. We used the same font as we did for 'WIRED'; Agency FB.
We then added the E4 logo. We first had it in the top right hand corner but felt that the poster was a little plain, so changed it by making it larger and turned the opacity down to 50%. We also changed the tag line to 'Old enough to know better... too young to care'
The poster was now finished.
