Budgeting

Before I start writing a plot line or making a storyboard for my trailer I need to make sure that it is possible to do on a low budget and also in the time that I've got to film it, because I can't exactly have a tank or a helicopter in my film unless I win the lottery tonight.
[EDIT; I didn't win the lottery]

The film 'Colin' had a budget of £45 however he already had a camera and editing software. I'm fortunate in the fact that college is providing me with a HD video camera and has Adobe Premier on the computers. However my budget is even lower than the one for 'Colin'. I have £8 in my wallet and another fiver in my stash (£2 of which I owe to my friend). Materials for the film that I already have however are a set of face paints that will come in handy and a bottle of golden syrup which can probably be used for fake blood.

Piece of cake.
