This is the first newspaper heading we created, with the name ‘St Helens Post’. We chose this due to its simplicity and also to the fact that the newspaper could perhaps be literally posted through the consumer’s door. We looked the local newspaper, ‘St Helens Star’ to gain inspiration for this heading and so the date, price and website are displayed below the heading in the same way as on the ‘Star’.
The positioning of ‘St Helens’ on our heading is also taken from newspapers such as the ‘Star’.
