To do this we created a new project in photoshop that was the same size of frame that we had filmed in, after that we imported the above image and then rastorised it so that it was compatible for video use.
We added a stroke and used a colour overlay to change the logo from white to black to make it stand out from the background of our video so that it could be easily seen, we noticed after doing this that the white in the background of the image looked tacky. We removed all the white so that it would appear transparent. After we had done this and added to our video we realised that as the colouring of the logo was so prominant, it looked artificial and unprofessional so we adjusted the opacity.
When we were happy with our logo we added fades on Premier pro so that the image would fade in and out where we wanted it.
We then reverted back to photoshop and copied and pasted the logo and moved it to the bottom corner of the project and added a banner with the artist's name and the title of the song.

We believe that the outcome effect appeared professional. These images show both the photoshop and video stages.
